About

I’ve been singing for as long as I could talk. Nobody has yet managed to shut me up! My TV debut at the grand age of 5 was on Songs of Praise at Christmas in 1991 from Thursford in Norfolk. I was singing Jingle Bells in the audience (it was the only song I knew in the program) and they asked my mum if they could film me. It’s actually the only time I’ve ever been on TV but it still counts!

From Christmas songs and nursery rhymes, I eventually went on to get some classical training while at school and college in Fakenham. I was singing lots of different styles including jazz, folk, opera and classical. I found a real appreciation for singing and loved singing in many languages

Fast forward several years and I have now been leading communty choirs for over 5 years. I undertook training with the Natural Voice Network in 2016 and now run a fantastic weekly group in Fakenham in North Norfolk and a monthy group in Norwich. We sing songs from all over the world and create amazing harmonies together.

My love of harmony grew massively as my first band Wolfswood began playing together. Creating rich three part harmonies with my husband Al playing keyboards and our wonderful guitarist Neil. We had a great few years playing gorgeous folk and Americana songs. I’m now putting that experience to good use by creating my own arrangements and songs.
